Our Staff
Most of our stylists specialize in either cut or color; a few do both. Call or text if you have questions about who to see. See our Cut and Color pages for detailed descriptions of what each service includes.
Please note that we do not accept gratuity. Trusting us with your hair is the best form of gratitude we could ask for.
Save $40 - $70 on your color service, (depending on stylist), when you schedule color & cut together during the same visit . Call or text to schedule both.

My Specialty Services are priced at $250/hour and require a separate 1 hour, $100 pre-paid consultation on a day prior to the color session. Unlike our other consultations, my specialty color service consultations are not applied toward the service. They are part of the service, scheduled on a day prior to the color appointment.
Schedule a Specialty Color Service or call the salon and we’ll do it for you.
Specialty Color can take as little as two hours or as many as 6 or more. It depends on the hair you arrive with, what condition it’s in and your end goal. If the change you want isn’t achievable in one visit I’ll let you know that during your consultation.
I prefer to do consultations in person so I can see your hair under ideal lighting and touch it to assess it’s integrity. That said, if you are coming from out of state or from a distant city and a separate trip for a consultation isn’t feasible, please call to schedule an online consultation.
Madison - Salon Owner (she/her) Cutting Specialist
I’m passionate about creating haircuts that help people see themselves in a way they haven’t before. My favorite moment is when a client looks in the mirror and thinks, “Ah, there I am.” I believe your haircut should feel like an extension of who you are, giving the rest of the world a glimpse of your personality before you ever say a word.
My approach to cutting is thoughtful, collaborative, and rooted in individuality. During our consultation, I want to know what haircuts you’re drawn to, but more importantly, how you want to feel and what you want your look to say about you. I’ve experienced firsthand how transformative the right haircut can be, and I want to give that experience to everyone who sits in my chair.
I love creating intentional, low-maintenance shapes that grow out beautifully. For many of my clients, that means a 90-minute haircut every 6–8 months, with a quick 30-minute maintenance session in between. Great hair shouldn’t have to mean a complicated routine.
One of my favorite parts of this career is working with people of all ages, races, genders, and hair textures. I have a particular soft spot for anyone who’s ever felt misunderstood, overlooked, or made to feel like their hair was a problem to solve. Whether you’re navigating curls, high or low density, stubborn growth patterns, or simply haven’t found a stylist who really gets your vision, I want you to feel heard and understood.
My chair is a space where your individuality is celebrated, your ideas are taken seriously, and your hair is approached with curiosity and care. I want to know who you are, how you see yourself, and how we can make the outside reflect what’s already there.

Carter (she/her) Salon Manager
Hi, happy to introduce myself! My name is Carter, and I am the salon manager here at Keith Kristofer Salon. Three weeks after graduating from Virginia Tech I moved to Austin and just seem to love it more each year. I’m here to help you book your appointments and get you set up for success at KK Salon. I love meeting all of you and helping to make your experience the best it can be. You’ll probably see me at the front desk or walking around the salon.
I am a clothing designer here in Austin. I started a brand in January 2024 called Rockstars Never Die. RND combines my love for sustainability, music and art. All pieces are made from second hand materials, and are one of a kind “wearable art”. I love doing markets around the city as well as post my pieces on Instagram. My dream is to work with musicians and other artists all over the world to create pieces that really showcase the Rockstar they are.
I look forward to meeting you and chatting with you to book your next appointment!
Jordan (he/him) Cutting Specialist
With over 10 years of experience behind the chair, I specialize in creating effortless, lived-in hair that feels as good as it looks. I’m all about working with your natural texture, personal style, and everyday routine to create a cut or color that makes sense for you. From long, flowing layers and natural curls to shags, mullets, high-and-tights, and everything in between, I love a good haircut with a little personality.
My approach is equal parts creativity, technical skill, and keeping things real. Whether you’re embracing your curls, looking for something a little unconventional, or just want a great haircut without a complicated styling routine, I’m here to help you find what works. Expect honest advice, a thorough consultation, and plenty of tips for making your hair look great long after you’ve left my chair.
As a native Texan, I take “Y’all means all” seriously. My chair is a welcoming space for everyone, and while I take my craft seriously, I don’t think getting your hair done needs to feel so serious. Come as you are, kick back, and let’s talk about whatever’s on your mind. Good hair and good conversation go hand in hand.
When I’m not in the salon, you’ll probably find me out in the wild—trail running, hiking, catching a rowdy punk or metal show, or hanging out in a questionable dive bar. I like good music, good people, and a little adventure, and I bring that same laid-back energy to life behind the chair.

Savannah (she/her) - Color Specialist
As a colorist, my biggest passions behind the chair are connecting with my clients and creating a space where you feel comfortable exploring your personal style. From lived-in dimension to pops of vivid color, I love it all, but my heart lies in helping you discover a signature look that feels entirely your own.
Whether you have a clear vision or need a little creative direction, I love collaborating to find a color that feels like you. I use color analysis principles to help identify tones that complement your natural features, while considering your personal style and what makes you feel your best.
My consultations are all about finding that sweet spot between your inspiration and my expertise. Bring your photos, mood boards, or just an open mind! Together, we’ll create a look you love and a maintenance plan that realistically fits your lifestyle.
I’m also a professional listener. Your latest hyper-fixation, wild life story, or current obsession? I’m all ears.
When I’m not in the salon, you can catch me bed rotting with a true crime documentary or bingeing reality TV. I’m also always down for live music and on a mission to find my next favorite artist.

Kasey (she/her) - Color & Cut
I specialize in creating hair that embodies “rough luxury”—a blend of refined elegance with a natural, untamed edge. From soft, dimensional blondes to bold, bright blonding transformations, I love creating color that feels intentional, personalized, and effortlessly beautiful. Using both straight-blade razor and scissor techniques, I design haircuts that complement your natural texture, grow out beautifully, and require less maintenance over time, allowing you to feel effortlessly stylish.
When you look up the definition of “creator,” it says, “a person or thing that brings something into existence.” This is how I approach my craft. I truly live as a creator—bringing a personalized, organic shape and color to each individual’s unique features, texture, and personal style. Whether we’re creating lived-in, dimensional blonde or a bright, statement-making blonde, I love finding the balance between artistic expression, technical skill, and a look that feels distinctly you.
Beyond the salon, I am a mother first to my 5-year-old son, Rowland. He’s full of energy, loves superheroes, and is always up for an adventure. We spend our time together counting turtles in Town Lake or exploring the great outdoors.
I am also deeply involved in the recovery community, where I’ve learned the importance of resilience, empathy, and non-judgment—values that guide me in both my work and personal life. These experiences shape the way I connect with my clients, ensuring that everyone who sits in my chair feels supported, comfortable, and welcome in a judgment-free space.

Andrea (she/her) - Cut & Color
Originally from Miami, I received my formal training at Cutler Salon in New York City and have had the opportunity to work with hair in New York, Austin, and San Francisco. Along the way, I’ve developed a love for creating beautiful, effortless hair that feels natural, timeless, and uniquely yours.
I specialize in long, flowing haircuts, soft layers, and working with natural waves and curls. I also have a particular passion for traditional French balayage—creating soft, sun-kissed dimension that looks as though you’ve spent your days in the sunshine. Whether through razor cutting, enhancing your natural texture, or creating lived-in color, my goal is always hair that feels effortless, grows out beautifully, and complements your personal style.
One of my favorite parts of being a hairstylist is the relationships I build with my clients. I genuinely love getting to know the people in my chair, hearing their stories, and understanding how they want to look and feel. I’m energized by your vision for yourself and love using my experience and creative eye to help bring that vision to life. I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and confident that we’re creating something together that feels like you.
When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me spending time with my daughter, husband, and our two dogs, enjoying the outdoors, or watching a good movie.
*I am not currently accepting appointments for short barbered cuts.

Dylan (he/him) Intern Stylist
Hi I’m Dylan, originally from Detroit. I’m an Aveda graduate who loves cutting hair, doing highlights and providing a service that makes someone feel good about themselves.
I grew up in a salon as a kid with my dad and step mom both being hairdressers. You could say that it’s in my blood. I’ve hung my hat in Las Vegas, Florida and Oregon but have made Austin my home. I love to travel and explore new places and meet new and interesting people.
When I'm not at work, I like to workout and hang out with my dog Banksy. I’m always looking forward to learning and growing, as a person and stylist.
I'm currently in the salon's training program and looking forward to scheduling appointments in my chair.

Hunter (he/him) Color & Cut
I’ve been in the hair industry for 12 years. With midwestern roots, Austin has never felt more like home. After a stint in northern California, a west coast inspired thread runs through all my work. I do cut and color with a focus on color. My approach to hair is lived in, easy breezy texture. Light, beachy ends, depth at the root or a classic lightness all over. Soft, natural tones and styles are what I’m about, unless the occasion calls for bold contrast. Bright face frame, natural dimension or if you’re looking for a complete change, I’ve got you covered.
I also do short hair, from classic shears all over to 90s heartthrob middle parts.
In my free time I like watering my plants, making tea, going to coffee shops, dive bars, doing yoga, biking, sitting by the lake, and thrift shopping.

Jacob (he/him) Cutting Specialist
Jacob Haigh is a licensed stylist with a passion for curls, and everything around them. A Paul Mitchell graduate, Jacob has been working in the beauty industry since 2017, and brings his own personal experience along with his professional training to give you the best hair possible.
Your appointment isn't just a haircut, it's a masterclass personalized to you and your hair. You'll learn proper product application, highly effective styling methods, and how to understand the anatomy of a curly cut, just to name a few things. He believes that you should leave your appointment feeling empowered, confident, and in love with your hair, because it's never just hair.
Along with haircuts, Jacob also enjoys doing protective styles like two strand twists, roller sets, blowouts, and wash-n-gos for when you want to pamper yourself. He is a heat-free stylist; meaning, he does not use flat irons or curling wands, because hair doesn't have to be dyed, fried, and laid to the side to look good.
When he is not in the salon, Jacob enjoys drinking too much espresso, thrifting clothes and fabric to turn into sewing projects, seeing live music all over Texas, and spending time with his wonderful family and various furry animals.
