Carter (she/her)- Salon Manager
Hi, happy to introduce myself! My name is Carter, and I am the salon manager here at Keith Kristofer Salon. 3 weeks after graduating from Virginia Tech I moved here to Austin and I just seem to love it more each year. I’m here to help you book your appointments and get you set up for success at KK Salon. People might say I’m crazy, but I absolutely love customer service. I love meeting all of you and helping to make your experience the best it can be. You’ll probably see me sitting in one of our comfy black chairs or walking around the salon.
I am a clothing designer here in Austin. I started a brand in January 2024 called Rockstars Never Die. RND combines my love for sustainability, music and art. All pieces are made from second hand materials, and are one of a kind “wearable art”. I love doing markets around the city as well as post my pieces on Instagram. My dream is to work with musicians and other artists all over the world to create pieces that really showcase the Rockstar they are.

I moved to Austin from Oregon and love all things nature. I am an avid astrology nerd and animal lover and spend a good amount of my time off hanging with and training my dog Fern.
I enjoy doing transformational haircuts and showing my clients how to get a good style without spending a ton of time or effort in the morning. I love razor cuts and have a passion for waves and big open curls. I’m currently learning more about cutting tighter curls and coils.

Jace (he/him) - Cutting $135/hr
I specialize in cutting hair with a straight blade razor as well as dry cutting with scissors. The razor is an incredibly versatile tool that allows me to carve and sculpt with the natural grain and texture of your hair. Everything from tight solid lines to super soft melty layers all while staying super clean and not shred-y (unless that’s what you want)
I love creating shapes that look good with minimal effort and grow into something beautiful and different rather than growing out and feeling heavy and bulky in 6 weeks (I like my clients to go three to nine months between cuts). Shags, bobs, long layers, short layers, bangs, soft pixies and big curly shapes are some of my favorite looks to do.
I have two Himalayan Persian cats, Harper and Roxie, who are absolute angels. I enjoy low key hang outs with friends, playing pool, and the occasional drag show. I don’t have many hobbies besides haircutting and learning about haircutting. It’s kind of an obsession.

I’m passionate about precision cuts. Some of my favorite cuts to do are bobs, pixies, fades, and edgy short looks. I also love doing heavily layered long hair cuts. All new clients (except for short cuts) should schedule a 1.5 hour first session which gives me enough time to do a thorough consultation and a precise, unrushed cut.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland I moved to Austin in 2003. I love doing creative color that makes a statement, along with blonde balayage, highlights and global blonding (double-process). I love anything colorful; from art to flowers to hair.

I believe hair should be fun and enjoy giving my clients a style that makes them feel like themselves. I’m passionate about creating haircuts that make my clients see themselves in a way they haven’t before. I want you to look in the mirror and think “Ah, there I am.” I love to cut low maintenance styles and recommend that most of my clients book a 1.5 hr session every 6-8 months with a 30 min session in between.
In a consultation, I want to know what kind of cuts you like, but also how you want to feel and what you want your look to say about you. It took having a haircut experience like this myself to understand how impactful it can be. I love the variety of working with all ages, races and genders and have a soft spot for clients who have been overlooked or made to feel bad in salons in the past. Often times these are clients with so called “difficult” hair texture whether that be curls, high or very low density, or lots of cowlicks. I also find that some members of the queer and BIPOC communities have bad salon experiences in the past. If you’ve felt like that in salons, I’m your gal. I want to hear who you are and help you achieve your hair goals.

Jenna (she/her)- Color & Cut $50/hr
I am an Austin local with a passion for all things hair, makeup, and beauty! I do both cut and color. My favorite types of haircuts include short edgy cuts, fun shags or mullets, and long layered looks. As for hair color, I love creative color and double process transformations. I believe that hair should express uniqueness and creativity and that everyone should love the way their hair looks. My goal is to help affirm my client’s sense of self expression and allow them to truly love the way they look!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dog Georgie and going on hikes with her. I also love all things k-pop, astrology, and nature related!
I am currently taking single process and gray coverage color clients on Fridays only.

Kris (she/her) - Color ~ $200/hr + assistant blowdry ($40-$60) ~ Specialty Color $250/hr
Master Colorist specializing in salt & pepper gray hair transformations, global blonding, color correction, and other Specialty Color Services. I also do standard color and highlighting services. I work with an assistant who does your finish so you’re not paying my rate for a blowdry. This makes my timings shorter which makes my pricing less than you might guess based on my hourly rate.
I thrive on big change with all hair textures and find my greatest fulfillment helping women project strength and confidence through their appearance. I can’t wait to work with you!

Specialty services are priced at $250/hour and require a 1 hour, $100 pre-paid consultation on a day prior to the color session. Schedule an online consultation or call the salon.
I prefer to do consultations in person so I can see your hair under ideal lighting and touch it to assess it’s integrity. That said, if you are coming from out of state or from a distant city and a separate trip for a consultation isn’t feasible, please call to schedule an online consultation.
Specialty services range from as short as 2 hours to 6 or more. It depends on the hair you arrive with, what condition it’s in and your end goal. If the change you want isn’t achievable in one visit I’ll let you know that up front.
