When you no-show or cancel with short notice, your service provider doesn't get paid. Their bills don't get paid. Their children don't eat or get medicine. Feeling guilty yet?  If you no-show once, we grin and bear it.  If you no-show twice, we still want to see you, but we will ask you to pay in advance to reserve your next scheduled appointment. Cancelling with less than 24 hours notice really hurts.
